The training capacities of Orissa Police fall short of the requirements for we have raised a number of battalions and increased the number of Police Stations in the State in the recent past. The emergence of Biju Patnaik State Police Academy as a premier police training institute of the State will bridge this gap. I hope that the Academy, in addition to meeting the training needs of the State Police, will emerge as a Premier Police training institute of the Country.
I am glad that BPSPA is going to launch its own Website covering all the details that it has and it does for Officers of Orissa Police. Wishing the visitors to Website an apt search light about the training needs and impact of training for new generation of Police men and in-service Officers of Orissa Police. I congratulate the Director, BPSPA that his dream to launch a Website for BPSPA has come true.
